Braiden Ellis is a fiction writer who grew up in Oklahoma before moving to Georgia at the age of 19. He is a doctoral student in the English Department at UGA, where he studies creative writing and specializes in Southern and Indigenous Gothic Fiction. During his time at UGA, Braiden has taught both English Composition and Creative Writing and has worked as a writing consultant in the university’s writing center. As an undergraduate student, he studied Creative Writing and French at Georgia College & State University, where he was an active French tutor for other GCSU students and a volunteer Creative Writing teacher for middle schoolers in the GCSU Early College program. He spent the 2023-2024 academic year teaching English to French high school students in the Teaching Assistant Program in France (TAPIF).  Instagram Twitter
