The Undergraduate English Association at the University of Georgia is dedicated to the English majors, minors, and enthusiasts who study in Park Hall. Their mission revolves around the three C’s:
- To foster a welcoming community and safe space in which English majors create lasting connections with like-minded individuals
- To provide career counseling to English majors and career information about the marketability of an English degree
- To celebrate the creativity of our English students through events focused on creative writing, poetry, literary appreciation, and more
The UEA strives to host a variety of events that provide services to English majors. Some of these events allow undergraduates to meet professionals who attained an English degree but dispersed into different professional fields. Email ueauga@gmail.com for more information and follow on Instagram and/or join their GroupMe.
Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honor Society, is an option for ambitious English majors. Email cmlwhite@uga.edu for more information.
Stillpoint Literary Magazine seeks to showcase the best of emerging and established writers and artists. The quenching, the visceral, the offbeat.
