The Creative Writing Program is thrilled to present poets Morgan Parker and Tommy Pico for a reading at UGA on Thursday, November 30th at 7 p.m.  This event, a partnership with The Georgia Review, will take place at the 40 Watt Club, 285 W Washington St, Athens, GA 30601, and is free and open to the public.

Morgan Parker is the author of There Are More Beautiful Things Than Beyoncé (Tin House Books 2017) and Other People’s Comfort Keeps Me Up At Night (Switchback Books 2015), which was selected by Eileen Myles for the 2013 Gatewood Prize and a finalist for the Poetry Society of America's Norma Farber First Book Award.

Tommy Pico is the author of the books IRL (Birds, LLC 2016), Nature Poem (Tin House Books 2017), Junk (forthcoming 2018 from Tin House Books), the zine series Hey, Teebs and the chapbook app absentMINDR (VerbalVisual 2014).

Together, Parker and Pico co-curate the Poets With Attitude (PWA) reading series.
